Semillas Fitó launches its range of tomato rootstocks.
The three varieties, Tronix, Bandix and Silex, characteristically produce very generative plants promoting better air flow around the crop and consequently better plant health and fruit quality. They also have a very powerful pivoting root system, with a high density of secondary roots and a high renewal rate.

TOMATO ROOTSTOCK
Very generative, high rigour rootstock which offers medium foliar cover. Tronix has a highly potent mixed root system, with a balanced distribution between main and lateral roots. It ensures the growth of an open and aerated plant to which promotes better plant health. It consistently maintains fruit size throughout the entire cycle, regardless of the circumstances. It comes with a package of resistances that protects the root from any pathogen attack, especially against Fusarium and nematodes.
ADAPTABILITY
Thanks to its early rooting and high renewal rate, Tronix is distinctly versatile in its behaviour, enabling it to adapt very rapidly to any condition. It works perfectly with all types of tomatoes. It is ideal for longer cycles.

TOMATO ROOTSTOCK
Medium vigour rootstock, very generative, with medium to low foliar cover. Bandix develops a more compact plant, with shorter internodes which promotes precocity, uniformity of size, and fruit quality. Bandix has a very powerful pivoting root system, which develops a large number of lateral roots along its main root.
ADAPTABILITY
Bandix is ideal for balancing varieties with very high vigour in any type of growing cycle, water, and soil.

TOMATO ROOTSTOCK
Low vigour rootstock, which gives the plant has a very open shape and low foliage cover, ensuring it is aerated and receives as much light as possible in winter. It has a strong root system in which lateral roots predominate, which contribute to an adequate vegetative and generative balance. Silex enhances the degrees Brix of the variety. It provides health and security against soil pathogens.
ADAPTABILITY
Silex is recommended for varieties with very high vigour and situations that require high levels of protection against nematodes. It is ideal for all types of soils and adapts very well to hydroponic systems. Silex is ideal for late transplanting.
